WHAT DO INVOICE MEANS

Invoice simply means as an itemized bill for goods and services rendered by an establishment to a customer. Items are listed with their corresponding prices and total amount payable to the seller. This document gives track to the items being sold (sales on cash and on credit in a particular time) and gives a clear understanding to the buyer about the goods/services received and paid.

The record of this document helps the businessman in checking if his workers are following the standard price of goods/services available in their company. He may have a basis of knowing the goods and services that are delightful to the customer and so he can provide the needs and perform necessary adjustments if needed.It does not gives only a hint to the businessman but also gives a basis in monitoring the physical inventory of goods available for sale. As i learned prior to my Management subjects, "stock cards are sometimes decisive"-inventories appears different from the stock card and thus with the actual counting of goods sold and unsold.

Businessman may have it as a tool in knowing the goods that were sold and were available with the support of some necessary data. It do helps organization to have a smooth flow of daily task and therefore helps to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
